Rulergate

Watch out, bead enthusiasts!  If the scale you use for bead photos is a 30-cm white ruler with inches on the other edge, you can be accused of ripping off Guru photos.  Apparently, use of such a ruler is the exclusive practice of the Guru and it would be an amzing coincidence if anyone else had his own bead photos with this same kind of ruler.  Such a ruler is clear evidence that you are ripping off Guru photos without giving credit where credit is due.

Meanwhile, two scans claimed by the Guru that recently appeared in the BSGB Newsletter are actually recent scans of our property collected in Ghana in the 1990s.   There must be more than one such ruler.  What an amazing coincidence!  Notice also that most scans of beads appearing on this tradebeads.net website use this same small white ruler.  Will our Guru claim these photos too because of the ruler?
