Here's "clear" evidence for English bead production -- Brilliant!

Here's a very interesting little research note from the archeology world (scroll to Hammersmith section):

We've long been wondering about English bead production and this work is sure to help us immensely.  It's time for someone to check out this entire assemblage and match it to collections dug up in the New World and elsewhere.  I suppose we'll have to change the default Venice ID for several varieties, just as we've had to change for several others that digger evidence has shown to be Dutch.  This archeological work is very exciting; let's usurp the findings and call it "bead research".
