Notice the bracelets, armlets, and leglets
adorning the "Dipo" girl to the left.  These
are frequently worn in pairs and they
usually have some significance.  The blues
on the right arm ("kori" or "koli") signify
wealth.  Shown above is a tray of bead
bracelets from one of the many markets in
and around Kroboland.  The typical bead
selling unit in this area is the bracelet pair
and many such pairs can be seen in the
photo.  They are on cotton string that can
be untied so the length can be adjusted and
so the piece can be mounted or removed
easily.  We are now offering several
genuine Krobo bracelets made with genuine
Krobo beads that were purchased in and
around Kroboland from trays just like the
one above.

Just now dug from the pile:
Medieval beads...
for sale!
June 2007.  Great news for us -- bad news for you.  Just
about everything on this site that's for sale has been sold, but
we'll leave the stuff around anyway as some kind of exhibit.
But it never hurts to ask about availability.  After awhile, we
forget what's in the pile.  This ain't the Picard Museum.
